Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Develop and execute a sustainable growth strategy for the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring expectations are met and issues are proactively resolved.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across business units.
- Support product and sales specialists through joint customer engagements and sales calls.
- Champion first-class customer service by leveraging feedback from the Weir Customer Experience Program and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead and coach high-performing teams through clear expectations, succession planning, and structured performance development.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Hold a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical training
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage remote teams and present confidently to diverse audiences
- Proven experience in hard rock mining environments; prior work in PNG or mining operations within PNG is highly desirable
- Skilled in interpreting technical and regulatory documentation and solving complex problems using sound reasoning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is advantageous
- Willingness to travel frequently, including to remote locations via non-standard transport, and work in varied environments including mine sites with appropriate PPE
