Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • Develop and execute a sustainable growth strategy for the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring expectations are met and issues are proactively resolved.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across business units.
  • Support product and sales specialists through joint customer engagements and sales calls.
  • Champion first-class customer service by leveraging feedback from the Weir Customer Experience Program and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead and coach high-performing teams through clear expectations, succession planning, and structured performance development.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical training
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage remote teams and present confidently to diverse audiences
  • Proven experience in hard rock mining environments; prior work in PNG or mining operations within PNG is highly desirable
  • Skilled in interpreting technical and regulatory documentation and solving complex problems using sound reasoning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including to remote locations via non-standard transport, and work in varied environments including mine sites with appropriate PPE
