About The Role

Regional Manager
, you will focus on building strong relationships with a portfolio of commercial and government clients and their employees, as well as in the wider business and non-community within the region. You will be responsible for driving retention and increasing member penetration within your portfolio, while also generating new sales of employer super plans. This includes creating and managing a pipeline of prospective employer clients and successfully managing member consent transfers for new business sales.

Day To Day, You'll

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective employer clients by working with internal and external channels within the region.
  • Develop and implement plans to increase business, grow client portfolio and member penetration and identify opportunities for new products and services.
  • Manage and implement all new business sales including end-to-end member consent process.
  • Retention of all clients within regional portfolio.
  • Representing Australian Retirement Trust (ART) at business and community events with the view to increase brand in the market.
  • Providing advice and education to ART employers and members (general and limited personal), where required.
  • Driving the delivery of education seminars in the region.

This role is available as a permanent/ full-time opportunity.

About You
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects, manage a pipeline of prospects within the target markets identified, and develop and manage a sales process.
  • An ability to construct professional reports and presentations that strongly position ART's offer to the target audience in a professional and compliant manner.
  • RG146 compliant to give General Advice (GA) in Superannuation and Insurance.
  • A deep understanding and passion for serving the customer coupled with the ability to influence clients to achieve an outcome.
  • Proven relationship management experience in either super, insurance, investments, and other business to business sales.
