Steel Mains is Australia's leading manufacturer and supplier of complete steel pipeline systems for the transportation of water and wastewater, offering a total solution approach to its customers.

We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Officer for a part-time opportunity to work 2 days per week to maintain and process the weekly and monthly payroll. The role reports to the Financial Controller as part of the broader finance team.

This role would suit an individual who has previous payroll experience (experience with Employment Hero Payroll preferred) or a finance background that is looking for part time participation in the workforce.

Key attribute of the individual for the role include:

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Well-developed and demonstrated communication skills
  • Experience working with financial or payroll systems
  • Enjoy working with a small dynamic team

This role can primarily work remotely following some initial office-based induction and training.
