We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll in a standalone capacity. This role is based onsite five days per week in Fairfield. The successful candidate must have experience working with Construction EBA's and will ideally bring exposure to SynPro and Business Central payroll/finance systems.

Description

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations.
  • Accurately calculate employee wages, tax, and superannuation contributions.
  • Resolve payroll-related queries and provide support to employees regarding pay and entitlements.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll audits and compliance checks.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.

Profile

  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing Construction EBA's
  • Proficiency in software's SynPro and Business Central
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with employees and stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
