About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team at our Norwest office. This role is crucial in driving improved cash flow, reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and enhancing the customer experience through timely collections and strong relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily allocation of incoming payments
- Proactive follow-up on overdue invoices via phone and email
- Investigate and resolve customer queries and disputes
- Claims management and reconciliation of major customer accounts
- Assess and review new customer credit applications
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Prepare weekly debtor reports and assist with DSO management
- Handle ad hoc invoicing and support AR process improvements
- Assist with external collections when required

We're seeking a confident communicator and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and thrives on building strong relationships internally and externally.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- A positive, proactive approach and a team-first mindset
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues independently
- Solid experience in accounts receivable, collections, and claims
- Intermediate MS Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics AX or MS Business Central preferred)
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- A commitment to continuous learning and integrity in all interactions
