Accounts Receivable Junior Full Time Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:30

Food and Dairy Co is a 100% Australian, family owned company. We are committed to being one of Sydney's leading milk and food distributors, serving cafes, restaurants and various food outlets in Sydney.

As a result of rapid expansion, we are seeking a Accounts Receivable Junior to contribute to the financial integrity of the business by ensuring accurate, timely and effective processing on an ongoing basis. The successful applicant will work proactively to minimise aged debt issues, and the timely processing of payments.

Our 'customer-first' attitude, along with a dedicated team, ensures we maintain all the qualities and values of our business.

About this Opportunity

The role is located at our Head Office in Arndell Park, reporting to the Accounts Supervisor.

We are looking for a candidate with strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

To be successful the following is required:


• Take ownership of your client portfolio to ensure debts are minimised and payment terms adhered.


• Manage inbound and outbound calls, providing outstanding customer service to clients.


• Utilising your problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve account/invoice related disputes to recover overdue accounts.


• Daily reconciliation of remittance advice and allocation of funds paid.


• High volumes of outbound queries and customer accounts.


• As a Collections Officer, you will be the Company representative liaising with valued customers who are within the arrears' stages and under potential hardship with accounts


• Completing account maintenance, analysis and investigation prior to collection


• Able to work at pace, under pressure and to deadlines.


• Demonstrated experience working with the operation and developing relevant problem-solving solutions


• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail


• Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to self-manage workloads


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


• Ability to work autonomously


• Proficient in Microsoft Office
