About Us

Icon Gymsports is a vibrant, permanent gymnastics facility in Hornsby, dedicated to more than just flips and handstands. Our mission is to nurture every individual's physical, social, and emotional growth—whether they're students, parents, or staff. Everything we do is guided by this purpose, and we're proud to be a club where people feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and supported.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

At Icon, we believe our staff should enjoy coming to work as much as our students enjoy their classes. That means:

  • A voice at the table – We involve our whole team in decisions and welcome new ideas.
  • Professional growth – We offer training during work hours to keep you learning and inspired.
  • Flexibility that works for you – Wherever possible, we roster around your availability.
  • Condensed hours (optional) – Work longer shifts over fewer days if that suits your lifestyle.
  • Paid catch-ups – Regular one-on-one time with your direct report, so you feel heard and supported.
  • Great culture – Staff socials (all expenses paid), fun initiatives, and a family atmosphere.
  • Small business perks – Direct access to the owner for quick decisions and open communication.
  • Awesome discounts – FREE classes for your children, plus family discounts.
  • Helpful extras – Paid subscriptions for tools that make your job easier.

About the Role

This is a two-part, action-packed role where no two days are the same

  • Program Coordination – You'll lead our biggest program: Recreational Gymnastics. From creating rockstar lesson plans to managing our incredible coaching team, you'll be the driving force behind keeping families loving their experience at Icon. You'll also dream up fresh ideas to keep things fun and engaging.
  • Events Extraordinaire – Bring the buzz to the gym with events that our families can't wait for. This includes:
  • Organising our famous Saturday evening parties (4–8.30pm, 8 times a year)
  • Running our quarterly recreational competition
  • Planning exciting pop-up events that make the gym feel extra special

Who We're Looking For

You're energetic, love working with kids, and believe in the power of keeping them active. You're also a team player who thrives in a close-knit, supportive environment. If you've worked as a teacher, nurse, or early childhood educator and are looking for a fresh challenge—this could be your perfect fit.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Gymnastics experience is great, but not essential
  • If not gymnastics, a qualification or significant experience in a child-related industry is a must
