EREA Colleges is the Governing Body responsible for 20 Educational Bodies operating schools or Early Learning Centres in Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.  

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Corporate Services Support Officer provides a broad range of corporate and administrative support services to meet the day-to-day requirements of the EREA Colleges Ltd executive and staff, including providing the first point of contact for external stakeholders with EREA Colleges Ltd. As a member of a small administrative support team, the role provides a range of multidisciplinary administrative support services to meet the needs of the office.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Administration support to members of the Executive Leadership Team such as preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up action items for Leadership/Project Meetings, liaising with external consultants on behalf of staff and providing support at various EREA Colleges Ltd Meetings/Gatherings.
  • Managing travel arrangements for EREA Colleges staff.
  • Giving general support in the office operations as required, including reception, ordering office supplies, collecting mail, arranging catering, booking meeting rooms and liaising with the Building Manager to resolve maintenance issues, access cards, parking, and cleaning.
  • Diary Management and Administration Support to the EREA Colleges Ltd Executive Leadership team as required.
  • Support the Executive Officer to the CEO and Senior Corporate Services Support Officer with administrative support services and functions as required.
  • Filing correspondence and other records in a timely manner following policies and procedures.
  • Supporting and assisting with the organisation of social events.
  • Processing supplier invoices and generating internal invoices to Educational Bodies.
  • Provide ancillary support to people and culture functions, including administration associated with recruitment and selection processes.
  • Assisting with finance and administrative functions to meet office support needs.
  • Supporting other corporate services support staff to meet organisational needs and timeframes.
  • Update phone and email distribution lists within EREA Colleges Ltd.
  • Perform other duties to support corporate and administrative functions of the office as determined by the Director - Corporate & Assurance

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • Possession of appropriate qualifications (e.g. secondary school education or higher).
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative or corporate support roles as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a strong client service orientation.
  • Excellent organisation, administration and prioritisation skills.
  • Competency in arranging meetings/events and consistency and strong attention to detail combined with high level verbal and written communication skills.
  • A courteous, engaging and efficient manner.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously in a high-paced work environment.
  • Advanced skills in using the Microsoft suite, Teams and other business software.
  • Understanding of, and commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system of schools in the Edmund Rice tradition.

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS

Circa $90,000 per annum (total employment cost)
