We are looking for experienced Corporate Security Rovers and Control room Operators for an Iconic location in the heart of Brisbane CBD, who can demonstrate high level of customer Service and integrity. The roles are available in Full time, Part time and Casual capacities.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Officers:

  • Maintain a visible presence while monitoring the premises to ensure safety and security.
  • Engage with visitors in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and information.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, ensuring a calm and effective resolution.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.

Security Rovers:

  • Perform proactive patrols of designated areas, focusing on both security and customer engagement.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere by assisting visitors and tenants with inquiries and providing directions.
  • Report any unusual behavior or incidents to the Control Room while remaining approachable.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall visitor experience.

Control Room Operators:

  • Monitor surveillance systems and communication channels, ensuring swift responses to security concerns.
  • Maintain effective communication with Security Officers and Rovers, coordinating efforts to manage incidents.
  • Document all activities and incidents accurately, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
  • Analyze data and trends to enhance safety measures and guest experiences.

Skills and experience

To be considered for placement you will need to have the following skills/traits:

  • Proven experience in control room Security ideally in a role at an A grade corporate building and precincts.
  • Experience in Access Control and CCTV systems is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse individuals.
  • Fully qualified and Licensed for Security Operations in QUEENSLAND.
  • Control Room Operator capacity on the Security License highly preferred.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certification.
  • Proven spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Contractor/Visitor Management, Access Control, Reception Duties, Loading Dock Control Experience.
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Have access to reliable transport.
  • Have the passion and drive to succeed.
  • Flexible to the ever-changing needs of the industry.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Desire to advance and upskill.
