The Corporate Counsel Club is an exclusive professional community for in-house lawyers.

We run events, publish content, and build genuine connection within the in-house legal world.

This role sits at the heart of that mission — helping us run, grow, and represent the Club and its members day-to-day.

We're still working out what the role will look like so if you need defined boundaries for your next move, this isn't the role for you.

Some of the things you'll be involved in may include:

Newsletter & Content

  • Draft and publish monthly newsletters.
  • Manage the mailing list (Mailchimp).
  • Repurpose content for LinkedIn and other channels.

Events & Scheduling

  • Coordinate venues, speakers, sponsors, and invitations.
  • Manage RSVPs, logistics, and event promotion.
  • Support smooth on-the-day execution and follow-up.

Marketing & Social Media

  • Create and schedule social posts and event recaps.
  • Design simple visuals using Canva.
  • Report on engagement and community growth.

Committee & Sponsor Support

  • Schedule and minute state committee meetings.
  • Maintain contact databases for members and sponsors.
  • Follow up on action items and sponsorship deliverables.

Member Liaison

  • Be the first point of contact for new members and sponsors.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries.
  • Represent the Club at industry events.

What You'll Bring

  • Background in marketing, communications, or events (legal or professional services ideal).
  • Confident communication and writing skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational habits.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Canva, O365 tools, and Eventbrite.
  • The ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities.

This is a chance to get in at the ground floor and build a community for in-house lawyers focused on sharing knowledge and experience, building global professional networks, and forging new relationships that open doors to new opportunities.

You'll work closely with a small, ambitious team that blends legal insight with creativity and fun.
