Are you a strategic communicator who thrives on storytelling, engaging employees, and driving meaningful internal change? At IPH Group, we're looking for a dynamic Internal Communications Manager to lead internal communications and bring our values and vision to life across our global teams.

Reporting to the Head of Group Corporate Affairs and sitting within the Corporate Affairs team, this key role will spearhead internal communications strategies that support employee engagement and change initiatives across the IPH Group.

Working closely with the broader Human Resources and Communications team, the Internal Communications Manager will be instrumental in shaping and delivering high-impact communications that inform, inspire, and connect employees across the IPH Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Brand

  • Seek out stories and create engaging content for our internal communications channels.
  • Support the creation of innovative, effective communication strategies and tactics to drive employee engagement, promote local focus areas, and embed firm values.

Own Internal Channels

  • Manage and maintain the IPH Update - our monthly internal newsletter – ensuring content is timely, relevant, and engaging.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of internal communications events, including the bi-annual Global Town Halls and the Financial Results Internal Roadshows.
  • Oversee and maintain the IPH Group intranet, collaborating with stakeholders across Corporate Services to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and high quality. Regularly review and edit contributions to maintain editorial standards.
  • Develop and manage an annual internal content calendar, liaising and collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders including Finance, Human Resources, IT, Legal, Transformation and member firm Marketing/Communications and Business Development.
  • Develop and implement appropriate metrics and reporting to evaluate the success and impact of internal communications and engagement strategies, channels and initiatives.

Support Internal Stakeholders

  • Advise stakeholders on best practice, including the most effective channels and messaging for various audiences, and propose initiatives to continuously improve communications impact.
  • Provide advice for the development of engaging, strategically aligned content including presentations, speeches, social and digital media, stories, briefs, newsletters, and award submissions.
  • Support senior leaders from across global corporate services teams to create communications plans and design, develop and distribute associated messaging.

Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Initiatives

  • Work closely with regional HR teams to document and promote DE&I initiatives in each region.
  • Build these initiatives into the content calendar to align focus and messaging.

Support External Channels

  • Support the broader Corporate Affairs team by developing employee focused content for use on external channels (e.g. LinkedIn).
  • Support the broader Corporate Affairs team with the Annual Report and Sustainability Report by capturing employee case studies throughout the year.

About You

Knowledge and Experience

  • At least 5 years' internal communications experience in a corporate environment or professional services.
  • Experience must be gained within either a corporate environment or professional services setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of internal communication tools and strategies, including GenAI.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with modern internal communication tools and platforms is essential.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines, while remaining calm under pressure.
  • High level of attention to detail and practices to check work thoroughly for completeness and accuracy.
  • A proactive, problem-solving and driven mindset.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
