Are you a strategic storyteller with a passion for engaging internal audiences and shaping culture through impactful communication? Lockton is seeking an experienced
Internal Communications Lead
to join our dynamic team across Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, you'll lead and deliver creative, strategic internal communications that connect and inspire our Associates. You'll also support on external communications to enhance Lockton's reputation, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand narrative across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies aligned with business and cultural goals.
- Create engaging content across a range of internal channels, including email, digital signage, intranet, employee experience platform and leadership communications.
- Support change management initiatives with clear, empathetic messaging.
- Lead the migration and management of Lockton Pacific's intranet platform as it integrates into a global platform, ensuring alignment with global standards, content strategy, and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, HR, and leadership to identify communication needs.
- Drive associate engagement and foster a strong internal culture.
- Support media relations and external communications as needed.
- Use data and analytics to measure impact and continuously improve communication efforts.
About You:
- 5+ years' experience in internal communications or employee engagement.
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editorial skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using digital tools like SharePoint, Viva Engage, LinkedIn, and CMS platforms.
- Strategic thinker with a collaborative and empathetic approach.
- Experience supporting change communications and executive messaging.
