Role Overview

We are seeking a Casual Support Worker to assist:

  • A participant with his morning routine (7:00am – 9:00am, three days per week), supporting him with daily tasks routine.
  • A young child with her afternoon routine (3:00pm – 5:00pm, twice a week), supporting her to develop independence in daily living skills, follow exercise routines, and build positive habits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Support routines, exercise, and skill development activities.
  • Encourage independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Current Police Clearance Check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Experience in the disability support sector is preferred but not essential.
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach.
  • Must have own car, full driver's licence, and comprehensive insurance.

Availability

  • Mornings: 7am – 9am, three days per week (Adult participant).
  • Afternoons: 3pm – 5pm, two days per week (young child).
