About the Opportunity

Magand is currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Workers to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide direct support to NDIS participants, helping them achieve their goals, maintain independence, and participate meaningfully in their communities.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about person-centered care and committed to improving the lives of people living with disability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct personal care and daily living support to participants based on their individual care plans
  • Support clients to engage in community, social, and recreational activities
  • Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and shopping
  • Promote and encourage independence in all aspects of daily life
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' needs, behaviors, or health to the appropriate team members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with NDIS compliance standards
  • Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and internal teams
  • Uphold participant rights, dignity, and privacy at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a support worker or personal care role (NDIS experience highly regarded)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Understanding of person-centered care, disability support, and NDIS principles
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality care
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Must hold (or be willing to obtain):

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
