About the role
We are seeking an Admin Assistant to join our team at Connect Facility Services in Thornton, NSW ro provide maternity cover on an initial 6 month contract basis.
In this pivotal role, you will provide high-level administrative support to our busy office, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. You will be an integral part of our close-knit team, responsible for a variety of clerical and organisational duties.
What you'll be doing
- Providing general administrative support, including data entry, filing, scheduling, and managing correspondence
- Coordinating and maintaining office supplies and inventory
- Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents
- Handling incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency
- Supporting the coordination of team meetings and events
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard
What we're looking for
- At least 1 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within the cleaning or facilities management industry
- Australian work rights are required for this position
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- This part-time role offers flexible working days per week with potential to develop into full-time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
- A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach
