You'll have real opportunities to grow your role as the business expands, and you'll be joining a values-first culture where your fit matters.
You'll work directly with our Finance Manager who wants to hand over the day-to-day. You won't be buried in layers of approval or boxed into transactional grunt work. You'll step into a hands-on, end-to-end finance role that's critical to the growth of the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage and report on project costs, WIP, and revenue accurately and proactively
- Handle the month-end process: journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Jump in with AP/AR support when needed (you're humble, remember?)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Ensure compliance and lodge everything on time BAS, PRT, etc.
- Keep financial systems tidy and accurate
About you:
You'll bring 3–5 years' experience in a well-rounded finance or management accounting role, with solid hands-on exposure to project accounting, work in progress, and revenue recognition.
You're CA or CPA qualified (or well on your way), and confident managing the full finance function with a practical, get-it-done approach.
You're someone who works with respect, values people, and leaves the ego at the door.
Bonus points if you've worked in a NDIS or employment services setting, or other job-costed environments, but above all, you fit in with a down-to-earth team.
The successful candidate will need to have a WWCC, pass a police check and gain and NIDS workers clearance as part of gaining employment.
