Autonomo is currently seeking a Purchasing Officer for a variety of Perth based Operations.Working with Autonomo

The Role
As a Purchasing Officer you will be joining our team, responsible for procurement activities required to meet the purchasing/procurement requirements of all company departments. The position will focus on the timely validation, input and processing of invoices received from external suppliers/contractors that support our diverse and growing business.
Duties include:
- Validating and processing invoices as part of the procure to pay process
- Managing vendor queries to resolve issues efficiently
- Communicating and negotiating with new and existing vendors in relation to payment terms and other vendor portfolio requirements
- Managing high-volume shared email inbox
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders in relation to all vendor payment queries
- Assisting with goods receipting of Purchase Orders
- Supporting other procurement activities as required
- Solving problems by recommending and implementing the most efficient solution
About You
The successful candidate will have similar experience, ideally in a mining, mining contracting, electrical or similar business. You will be able to maintain quality and attention to detail when working to deadlines in a fast paced high volume environment and be able to work effectively as part of a team with a willingness to share work as required.
You will also demonstrate:
- Experience using ERP systems
- Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Outlook
- Experience and training in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance or Accounts Payable
- A related tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Engineering is advantageous
