Lawn Solutions Australia is the nation's leading supplier of premium turf and a recognised centre for turf research and development. We are currently seeking a motivated Turf Technical Manager / Groundsman & Research Assistant to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to individuals with experience in greenkeeping for sports turf, golf, or recreational facilities. You will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of turf trials, the management of our research facility, and the upkeep of the surrounding grounds and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining turf trial plots
  • Assisting with ongoing turf research projects
  • General grounds and facility maintenance
  • Supporting the development of new turf varieties and practices
  • Assisting with other areas of the business when dictated by weather

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in greenkeeping, turf management, or a related field
  • Strong practical skills with turf care, machinery, and grounds maintenance
  • Experience with a wide range of machines and equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to assist across a variety of tasks
