Our client is an independent media agency partnering with some of Australia's leading property brands. We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Account Director to join our Melbourne team and lead key client relationships.

This role is all about client leadership, integrated campaign delivery, and team mentorship. You'll be the trusted adviser for major property accounts, guiding media strategy and execution across brand, digital, social, search, and partnerships.

What you'll do:

  • Own the client relationship, delivering campaigns that drive measurable results
  • Develop media strategies and present insights using client, industry, and Roy Morgan / Helix Personas data
  • Build strong partnerships with publishers and media platforms, always bringing new ideas to the table
  • Work closely with our Performance team to leverage data, innovation, and insights
  • Coach, mentor and support your direct reports to achieve their best work
  • Keep the commercials tight—forecasting, reporting, and maximising profitability
  • Represent the agency at industry events, networking opportunities, and client pitches

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years' experience in account leadership within a media agency or media owner, an appreciation or some experience working with Property or Developer clients a bonus
  • Proven people management experience – you know how to bring out the best in a team
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and project management skills
  • Confident communicator who can simplify the complex for clients and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Roy Morgan / Helix Personas tools a plus
  • Experience in residential or commercial property advertising ideal (but not essential)
