Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Blume Agency Full time

About Us

At Blume, we help brands tell their stories — through thoughtful strategy, scroll-stopping visuals, and meaningful connection. We're a creative social media agency working with clients across a range of industries. Our team loves creating work that feels fresh, intentional, and on brand.

Our team values creativity, care, and collaboration. We love crafting content that doesn't just look good — it performs, inspires, and connects.

About the Role

We're searching for a Social Media & Content Manager who's equal parts creative thinker and organised doer — someone who can manage clients with confidence, lead content creation from concept to execution, and keep workflows running seamlessly.

You'll work across everything from strategy and planning to shoots, scheduling, and reporting. You'll create content that looks good and performs, while managing your clients' social presence end-to-end with strategy, creativity, and care.

What You'll Do:

  • Create and publish engaging, high-quality content across social media platforms
  • Capture and edit short-form video, photography, and social-first creative that's current, clever, and on-brand
  • Jump on trends and translate them into content that drives engagement
  • Plan and schedule posts ahead of time to keep everything running smoothly
  • Manage client relationships — keeping communication clear, deadlines met, and strategy aligned
  • Collaborate with the Blume team to execute the social calendar, content shoots, and overall strategy
  • Engage and grow online communities, responding to comments and messages in a brand-aligned tone
  • Track content performance and share insights that inform future strategy
  • Present fresh ideas, trending reel concepts, and creative directions that keep content moving forward

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on social media experience in a brand or agency environment
  • Proven ability to create and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & Pinterest
  • Confident in photography and videography, with a sharp eye for composition and storytelling
  • Skilled in short-form video editing, trending audio, transitions, and basic graphic design skills for creating visual content
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-focused
  • Able to interpret analytics and use insights to guide creative strategy
  • Proficient in Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro), CapCut, and Social Media Scheduling Platforms
  • Excited to be part of a creative agency that's growing and evolving — and to grow with it

Why Join Blume:

  • Work with some amazing brands that value creativity
  • Be part of a collaborative, supportive team that loves good ideas and good content
  • Opportunities to grow with the agency and develop your career long-term

To apply, send through your resume, a short cover letter, and examples of your work or social media accounts you've managed — we'd love to see your creative approach in action.

This is a
four-day-a-week role
, with the flexibility to
expand to five days
in the future if that aligns with your goals.

*Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
