The Role

As Business Support Officer, your role will be to provide effective and efficient administrative support to OzChild programs and their clients. This includes being the front desk point of contact, booking rooms, scheduling organisations use of the office, general administrative tasks and general office management.

About our ProgramTreatment Foster Care Oregon for Children (TFCO-C) is an evidence-based treatment program that supports and treats children with significant behavioral challenges. TFCO provides a high level of support and intervention to children and young people in a more natural setting - the home of an approved Foster Carer. The TFCO model contains several components including training and support for the foster carer/s, family therapy for the child young person's parent/aftercare placement, skills training for the child or young person, education support. and case management and consultation.

An individualised treatment plan is developed for each child or young person in the program with goals that focus on improving the child's emotional and behavioral functioning; promoting positive educational outcomes; and building strong family relationships. A child's goals are met through close supervision, fair and consistent limits, predictable consequences, and supportive relationships with mentoring adults through a team of our amazing specialists.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to

• Deliver high quality and timely administrative Business Support

• Booking and scheduling clients use of the office

• Have a high attention to detail and proven experience with implementing quality checking practices and checklists to improve outputs.

• Have highly developed interpersonal communication and relationship management skills.

• Have proven Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level.

• Have experience in the support and running of an office site and providing exceptional customer service.

• Have flexibility to cover additional days if required in both Warrnambool and Portland offices.

OzChild offers:

• A part time permanent role (0.6 FTE) 3 days per week

• Salary packaging up to $15,900 plus $2650 meals and entertainment 

• SCHCADS 3.4 $ 81,905.20 per annum (pro - rata)  

• Ex gratia days Easter & Christmas

To be successful, you will be required to meet our Safety Screening requirements, and this will include relevant police checks and hold a valid and current WWCC
