Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Experience Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing reception duties, supporting the accounting and operations teams to ensure smooth operations at our Gold Coast facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards in the FBO lounge and kitchen, ensuring a clean, well-presented, and welcoming environment for our valued clients and crew.
- Duties include keeping the lounge tidy, kitchen spotless, and refreshments stocked to deliver a first-class experience.
Reception Duties:
- Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and a friendly demeanour in our VIP lounge.
- Manage incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate team members, and take messages as needed.
- Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about our services and facilities.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception and lounge area.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
- Accurately process customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure prompt collection of payments.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger for accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute statements to clients as needed.
- Review and verify invoices for correctness.
- Process payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain precise records of accounts payable transactions.
- Resolve discrepancies in accounts payable statements.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support audits by compiling necessary documentation and information.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role (aviation industry experience is a plus).
- High proficiency with accounting software (e.g., MYOB) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling financial information.
