Our Mermaid Beach office is looking for a vibrant, energetic accountant looking to learn and grow with our expanding Queensland client portfolio. This role is based in the Gold coast office.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Accountant Business Advisory at Rees Group. The role involves preparation of financial reports, client communication with bookkeepers and client teams. Preparation of tax returns, tax planning and advice along with tax consultations to clients. The Accountant Business Advisory will work closely with their managers and clients to understand client's financial goals, analyse financial data, and provide strategic recommendations to optimise performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial analysis and Xero financial reporting skills
  • Experience in Australian tax, bas, payg and tax reconciliations
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting for SMEs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • CPA or CA certification is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting a requirement
