Competitive Salary: Band 3 - $ 69,216.85 p.a. + 12 % superannuation
Location: Working across offices in Sandringham and Carnegie and some occasional flexibility to work from home

About the Role:
Assist Rostering Officers to:
- Maintain rosters for support workers and make and respond to routine client and support worker telephone calls.
- Provide an excellent customer experience through phone contact primarily and occasional face to face contact with support workers, clients, families, agencies and internal staff.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting rostering officers to ensure support workers rosters accurately reflect service requests.
- Contacting clients regarding their rostered bookings, prior to actual service provision.
- Inputting accurate service notes and information into Council's client management system in a timely way.
- Communicating with support workers to provide routine day to day rostering changes and support.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of the needs of older people, people with disabilities and their carers.
- Ability to backfill rostering officers during planned and unplanned leave following training.
- Experience working in aged care in a community setting would be well regarded.
Mandatory pre-employment requirements:
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
