The Opportunity
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated finance professional to join our Corporate Finance team as Financial Reporting Manager.
In this key role, you'll guide Forestry Corporation's central finance and accounting functions – helping to maintain strong financial governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks that support informed decision-making across the organisation.
You'll coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements, manage treasury and cash flow activities, coordinate audits and taxation reporting, and provide trusted financial insights that help drive performance and accountability.

About the role
As Financial Reporting Manager, you'll lead a small, professional finance team responsible for Forestry Corporation's central accounting and reporting functions. You'll oversee financial governance, compliance, and cash flow management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting that supports sound decision-making. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, contributing to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
About You
You're an experienced finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and a collaborative leadership style. You're confident managing reporting, audit, and compliance processes, and you take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality financial information. With a CA or CPA qualification and a focus on continuous improvement, you bring a practical, solutions-focused approach and enjoy developing the capability of those around you.
You'll bring:
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and State-Owned Corporation requirements
- Experience managing financial reporting, taxation, and audit processes
- Proven ability to lead and develop a small finance team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and a proactive mindset
