Deep Gem is seeking experienced Civil Electrical Leading Hands with genuine industry experience within the Energex URD Subdivision, Traffic Signals and Public Lighting industry.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Self-motivation and leadership qualities
  • Attention to detail and pride being taken in all aspects of their work
  • Experience managing their own crews and jobs.
  • Genuine experience with:
  • Installing conduits, cable hauling, pits and footings; or
  • Traffic Signal infrastructure
  • Experience working within Energex, local council or Main Roads Standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow company procedures for documentation and compliance
  • Proven track record of good performance and a solid employment history
  • Current manual drivers licence - (MR/HR preferred)
  • All other tickets/ licences and current competencies will be advantageous

Remuneration will be based on verifiable skills and experience, and includes:

  • Competitive hourly rate + penalties and allowances (Paid weekly).
  • Fully maintained company vehicle
  • Mobile phone
  • Company supplied uniforms
