About Us

Baillie Hill is Perth's newest hospitality precinct, opening early 2026 in East Victoria Park. With restaurants, bars, and community spaces under one roof, it will be a vibrant hub for dining, entertainment, and connection.

We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Functions & Events Manager to lead precinct-wide bookings, private functions, weddings and community activations - including East Vic Park's newest weekly farmers market. This is your chance to shape Baillie Hill's events offering from the ground up.

Start date: Late December Early January 2026

About the Role

You'll manage the full event cycle - from enquiry and quoting through to on-site delivery and post-event follow-up - ensuring every function runs smoothly. Events will range from private celebrations and corporate gatherings to community markets and precinct activations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client enquiries, bookings, and event logistics
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and booking confirmations
  • Coordinate with FOH and kitchen teams for seamless operations
  • Develop run sheets and oversee on-site event delivery
  • Assist with precinct events and the weekly farmers market
  • Manage event budgets and resources efficiently

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years' experience in event or functions management (hospitality preferred)
  • Knowledge of Function Tracker, Now Book It or similar systems
  • Excellent communication, admin, and client-service skills
  • Calm, professional approach under pressure
  • Self-motivated, solutions-focused, and detail-oriented
