The Company

Pink Tank Events is a unique and exciting corporate events company, dedicated to providing amazing experiences for its participants, guests and audiences, at every level.

Pink Tank Events owns the rights to the Miss Universe Australia and the Royal Queensbury Club Championship and has partnered in events with numerous luxury brands including the likes of Louis XIII, Audemars Piguet, Ferrari and Maserati.

We also manage Miss West Coast and assist with our sister companies Barbagallo Watch and The Watch Bar's events. The Pink Tank Events (PTE) team is continually putting in place exciting plans for new events, as well as evolving its current winning formulas and invites you to join in all the fun

About you

You'll play an integral role in managing the social media platforms of our companies and assisting the development of our current group of events.

No events experience is required as you will learn on the job However, we are looking for someone who is:

• Knowledge of excel for populating detailed spreadsheets for event planning (on pre-existing templates)


• Design and marketing savvy

Responsibilities:

  • Managing company social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook
  • Ensuring a strong social media presence on new and emerging social media platforms
  • Creating dynamic written captions to support supplied content
  • Content creation at events throughout the year
  • Working closely with our Creative Director and Graphic Designer to develop marketing campaigns
  • Working with our other creatives at events to ensure content PTE are wanting is captured, for you to be able to then share across the social platforms
  • Analysis and reporting on audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects
  • Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • General social account management
  • Using timelines and scheduling to create a consistent stream of content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary
  • Assist Graphic Design in layouts and visuals for website and email marketing campaigns
  • Managing the content updates on the website to reflect the updates on socials
  • General administration tasks relating to the role.

Qualifications and Key Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Media and Marketing, or related field desirable, but not necessary
  • Sound understanding all social media platforms, including paid marketing campaigns
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking and copy writing skills
  • A portfolio of social media and marketing campaigns or similar
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
  • Must be happy to travel domestically and internationally and work as required at major events at sporadic times during the year.
