The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised office manager to oversee the daily operations of our Perth office.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all administrative, HR, and operational functions, supporting our education and student service teams.
The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient functioning of all administrative systems.
Plan, prioritise, and coordinate office services, including workflow scheduling, document management, and reporting.
Supervise administrative staff and support their training, task allocation, and performance review.
Manage procurement and maintenance of office equipment, supplies, and fixed assets.
Prepare and monitor office budgets, invoices, and expenditure records to ensure cost-effective operations.
Maintain accurate filing systems, reports, and correspondence in accordance with organisational and government policies.
Liaise with teaching, finance, and student services teams to resolve operational and administrative matters.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and internal quality standards.
Support HR functions, including onboarding, attendance management, and staff development activities.
Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration and problem-solving.
About You
At least 5 years of experience in office administration or management, preferably within a school, education, or training organisation.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate office teams, manage budgets, and improve operational processes.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable managing both paper and electronic record systems.
Sound understanding of compliance, safety, and administrative policies within an educational environment.
A proactive, dependable, and service-oriented professional who thrives in a structured, student-centred environment.
Mandarin and English bilingual communication skills are highly regarded.
