About the Role

As the Compliance & Communications Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring the business operates smoothly, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards, while also supporting the marketing initiatives that showcase the company's projects. This is a varied and engaging role, perfect for someone who enjoys operational systems, compliance processes, and creative communication tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal systems, including document control, project tracking, and quality management
  • Ensure company procedures, processes, and tools meet compliance standards (e.g., ISO, company standards)
  • Streamline digital systems to align with end-to-end business processes, including Procore and other platforms
  • Support preparation for external audits or accreditations
  • Monitor and track compliance-related tasks and deadlines
  • Assist with onboarding and training related to company systems and compliance protocols
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Provide support to the Systems Compliance & Marketing Manager and other departments, acting as 2IC when required
  • Supervise junior staff or contractors involved in systems or marketing tasks
  • Assist with execution of the company's marketing strategy, coordinating digital content updates (website, social media, newsletters)
  • Help produce marketing collateral such as brochures, case studies, capability statements, and tender documents
  • Maintain brand consistency across all internal and external communications
  • Liaise with suppliers, designers, or external marketing consultants as needed
  • Continuously improve processes and systems to drive efficiency

About You

  • At least 3–5 years' experience in an operational or administrative role, ideally within construction
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent coordination, time management, and organisational skills
  • Skilled at drafting correspondence and producing professional reports, communications, and guidance
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships
  • Able to manage a varied workload, multitask, and re-prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, able to work under pressure, forward-thinking, and solution-oriented
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaborative tools such as SharePoint or OneDrive
  • Experience with design tools such as InDesign or Canva preferred
  • Experience with HammerTech, Procore, or Job Pac preferred
  • Strong document control and management skills
  • Experience managing digital channels such as websites or social media is advantageous
