Role Description

We are seeking a
Graduate Civil Engineer
with 1–3 years' experience and a passion for the built environment to join our team in
Newstead, QLD
. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical and design skills while contributing to a range of projects across
industrial, commercial, education, and urban development sectors
.

Working under the guidance of our experienced civil engineers, you will assist in:

• Preparing civil design and documentation for earthworks, stormwater, road works, water supply, retaining walls, managing approvals, contract administration, and site inspections for infrastructure projects
• Supporting stormwater management and drainage design in compliance with local council and regulatory standards
• Undertaking design modelling, calculations, and reporting
• Contributing to project coordination, technical reviews, and delivery milestones
• Collaborating with structural, architectural, and project management teams to achieve integrated outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in
  Civil Engineering
  or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of professional experience in civil design or consulting
• Foundational knowledge of stormwater, earthworks, and site servicing design
• Familiarity with design software such as
  12D, Civil 3D, or AutoCAD
  (advantageous)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset
• A passion for the built environment and a proactive approach to learning
• Working towards or interest in
  RPEQ / Chartered status
  will be highly regarded
