Are you a procurement professional ready to lead high impact sourcing strategies across corporate and multi-site operations? CS Energy is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our Brisbane team and take ownership of strategic procurement planning and tactical contract delivery. This is your chance to influence major corporate arrangements, drive measurable cost savings, and ensure risk-managed, value for money outcomes that support our business priorities.

This two-year fixed-term opportunity will place you at the forefront of procurement across IT services, corporate functions, and long-term supplier agreements. You'll work closely with senior leaders, legal counsel, and external partners to deliver procurement outcomes that align with CS Energy's commercial objectives and compliance standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment and have strong expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management, this is your chance to make an impact.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead strategic procurement planning and tactical delivery for corporate office and multi-site agreements.
  • Manage procurement of IT services including hardware, software, and multi-year service contracts.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to drive mutual success.
  • Define project briefs, develop contract documentation, and lead complex tenders and negotiations.
  • Ensure timely, cost effective procurement aligned with business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Achieve measurable cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
  • Use CS Energy's business systems to develop and execute procurement strategies.
  • Maintain alignment with Queensland Government QITC framework and other regulatory standards.
  • Support continuous improvement in procurement practices and contribute to cross functional initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Certification through a Procurement industry body such as CIPS.
  • Previous experience in a procurement or category management role, with exposure to Qld Govt QITC framework.
  • Proven track record of successful supplier and contract negotiations.
  • Experience in supplier management and contract management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies.
