  • Assisting in planning and reviewing office operations, setting internal service standards, and establishing priorities, for example preparing schedules or introducing clearer filing systems.
  • Coordinating the use of staff, workspace and resources to ensure smooth daily operations and timely order processing.
  • Delegating tasks to employees, supervising progress and ensuring performance targets are met, such as monitoring response times to customer enquiries or timely preparation of invoices.
  • Maintaining and managing records, financial accounts and filing systems in line with company requirements, including keeping track of supplier payments and customer contracts.
  • Liaising with suppliers and other professionals to resolve day-to-day operational issues, such as delivery delays or stock discrepancies.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of office facilities and equipment, and ensuring that supplies such as stationery, labels, and packaging items are consistently available.
  • Implementing and monitoring health and safety practices in the workplace, including keeping walkways clear in the storage area and ensuring electrical equipment is tested regularly.
  • Ensuring office procedures and staff practices comply with government requirements, company policies, and trading standards, such as maintaining proper invoicing and GST records.
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new staff by preparing orientation materials and familiarising them with company processes, such as company IT facilities and customer service protocols.
  • Coordinating personnel activities including payroll, organising training sessions (e.g. customer service skills) conducting staff appraisals, and monitoring ongoing performance.
  • Joining trade conferences, workshops, and workplace training activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
