A full-time permanent opportunity has arisen to join the Property Team based out of our Head Office in Northbridge.
As a valuable member of the team, you will be responsible to operate and maintain a large diverse portfolio of properties including commercial facilities, churches and residential properties which span the Southern CBD and Regional areas.
As Area Facilities Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility to develop and manage property operations and maintenance budgets;
- Compliance to regulatory and Work Health Safety standards ;
- Overseeing / project managing minor capital works project ;
- Contractor performance management ;
- Reactive and routine maintenance, repairs and inspections of all buildings;
- Perform Estate Appraisals and Condition Assessments ;
- Experience in the property industry/building facilities/asset management
- Contract management.
- The ideal person will be a proactive, collaborative team member who adopts a hands-on approach. You will be comfortable with multi-tasking and problem solving and adopt a strong client focus which will require:
- 5 years of facilities management experience in portfolios of 200+ properties preferable ;-
- A strong understanding of Building Codes, Australian Standards, Essential Services, Statutory and WHS legislation;-
- Proficient IT skills, including facilities management software and the Microsoft Office suite;-
- Experience developing and managing maintenance schedules;-
- A proven track record in customer and key stakeholder management;-
