As Director, you will lead the delivery of professional financial management services, including oversight of the state budget and estimates process, internal budgeting, and the development of business and costing models. You will drive high-quality financial analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making and lead the implementation of a robust investment and prioritisation framework that enables

strategic resource allocation in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide expert advice and strategic financial recommendations to the Minister, the Resources Leadership Team, and departmental committees, contributing to policy development and reform impact assessments. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you will champion enhanced business partnering, customer-centric service delivery, and operational excellence.

We are seeking a strategic leader to oversee and drive financial services, including the management of state budgets, estimates, and costing models. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and business models that support informed decision-making. You will lead the development and implementation of robust investment and prioritisation frameworks, provide expert advice on financial policy, and assess the impacts of reforms. The role requires offering strategic financial counsel to the Minister and senior leadership, fostering continuous improvement in financial management and business partnering.
