
Marketing and Loyalty Manager

About the Role:
As the Marketing and Loyalty Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing, promotions, and loyalty initiatives that support the Club's brand, increase patronage, and foster long-term member engagement. You will lead a dedicated Customer Relations, Promotions and Marketing team and be part of a wider Consumer and Marketing team with the NQ Cowboys Group. You'll work collaboratively across departments to deliver high-impact campaigns, community engagement programs, and data-driven insights that support the groups continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Club's marketing, advertising, and promotional strategies
- Lead loyalty program development, including database management, rewards tiers, and member engagement initiatives
- Oversee planning and execution of all internal and external member promotions and special events
- Produce in-depth reporting and analysis of campaign and program performance
- Manage digital marketing, social media, and content production to maintain a strong brand presence
- Coordinate sponsorships, media engagement, and community outreach activities
- Supervise the Customer Relations team, supporting staff development and frontline promotion of loyalty initiatives
- Maintain high standards in brand presentation, customer experience, and promotional compliance
Qualifications & Certificates:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field essential
- Current RSA and RSG certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Relevant Experience:
- 3–5 years' experience in a marketing or loyalty-focused leadership role, ideally within a hospitality, gaming, or club environment
- Demonstrated experience in campaign development, loyalty program management, and digital marketing
- Experience managing teams, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives
- Familiarity with membership and gaming systems and Queensland gaming regulations highly desirable but not essential
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and report on marketing performance
- Experience in CRM/database systems
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
