About the role:
As a Marketing Executive, you will play a vital role in implementing the Club's marketing strategy and driving brand awareness. This full-time role will work with the NQ Cowboys Group to support and coordinate the delivery of marketing, promotional, and loyalty initiatives that drive member engagement, patronage, and brand growth for the Cowboys Leagues Club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute the Club's marketing plan and promotional strategies
- Support the implementation of the Club's loyalty and membership programs, including promotions, member communications, and database updates
- Manage content updates across digital channels including the Clubs website, email marketing, and social media
- Develop compelling content such as advertisements, social media posts, and marketing collateral that aligns with brand tone and campaign
- Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of in-venue promotions, special events and activations
- Assist with coordinating promotional activities with the NQ Cowboys Group and external partners
- Gather insights, analyse performance, and continually optimise marketing initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation
Qualifications, Certificates and Experience:
- 2+ years' experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the hospitality, events, or consumer-facing industries
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or Business-related fields
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Strong writing and content creation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, CRM/email marketing systems
- Understanding of marketing principles, branding and customer engagement
- A creative and strategic mindset, with the ability to think outside the box
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
