The Warbangali Allied Health Program, operating on Darkinjung Country (Central Coast, NSW), is a community-driven initiative under Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Services. Specialising in culturally safe, strengths-based, and trauma-informed care, the program provides comprehensive support through occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, social work, and behaviour support. Warbangali is dedicated to empowering individuals across all life stages, from paediatrics to elders, with services ranging from therapy and family support to advocacy and educational resources.
As a collaborative team of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal staff, the team deliver targeted interventions to build capacity within the community. About The Role:
This role is full-time/part-time, and the focus is primarily on our paediatric NDIS clients. The primary duties you will be involved with are as follows:
- Therapy assessment, consultation and treatment of community members
- Consult and provide therapy education to families, stakeholders, and/or carers
- Conduct post-assessment meetings with service users and/or their caregivers
- Engage in case consultations and stakeholder meetings
- Complete, review and maintain therapy treatment plans
- Complete, track, review and maintain therapy goals
- Complete ongoing progress reports, including NDIS reports, within the required time frame
- Develop Allied Health Assistant intervention plans, where appropriate, and provide supervision

Lastly, as an employee of an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO), you will be eligible to apply for a scholarship of up to $10,000 per year, provided for up to two years of study (whichever runs out first), to attain a postgraduate qualification of either a postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, Masters or PhD. – This is not included in the overall employment package, but an opportunity stemming from employment.
