About us:
- We are an established, dynamic team of 18 speech pathologists and 4 administrative staff members all based under one roof in our beautiful clinic in Caulfield South. Spark Speech Pathology is thrilled to have been declared as the 2024 winner in the City of Glen Eira Business Excellence Award for the category of Health and Wellbeing.
- We run individual sessions and a multitude of group sessions each week.
- We service clients of all ages with a range of speech, language, literacy, fluency, learning difficulties and social differences. We have a commitment to ongoing learning of neuroaffirming practices.

Mentoring and Support:
- Individual supervision with practice principals and senior speech pathologists on the team as well as paid external mentoring where necessary
- Professional development budget and 3 days paid time to complete PD without taking leave
- Monthly in-house professional development sessions
- Fortnightly 'Power Half Hour' team learning sessions
- Daily scheduled and informal opportunities to collaborate with the other speech pathologists in the team is central to our work.

- Manageable expectation of approximately 5 hourly clinical sessions per day(consisting of 45 minute face to face and 15 min admin time) plus time each day for planning, admin and team collaboration

Role:
- You choose your hours. You choose what works best for you
- We're open to designing the role to suit your experience and strengths. If you are suitably experienced, supervision of other therapists on the team and/or a team leadership roles are available.
- You will be working with a wide variety of mainly paediatric clients and possibly some adolescent and young adults clients. AAC and GLP experience is preferred. Your caseload could include autism, global developmental delay, late talkers, stuttering, speech sound disorders, language, phonological awareness, literacy, social interaction and parent training.
- Primarily clinic-based sessions, with a few weekly sessions in the local community requiring minimal travel.
Criteria:
· Degree or Master of Speech Pathology
· A minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
· Speech Pathology Australia membership
· Professional Indemnity Cover and Public Liability Insurance
· Current Working with Children Check
· Eligibility for registration with Medicare
· Own Transport
