About the role
Looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children? Join our dynamic team at The Speech and OT Centre as a full-time Speech Pathologist. Based in Lidcombe, NSW, you'll be part of a dedicated group of professionals providing essential speech and language therapy services to the local community. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the growth and success of our respected allied health practice.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify individual client needs
- Design and implement tailored intervention plans to help clients achieve their communication goals
- Work closely with clients, families and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care
- Maintain detailed client records and contribute to the continual improvement of therapy processes
- Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Speech Pathology Australia
- Ideally, minimum 2 years' experience as a Speech Pathologist, in a paediatric or community-based setting. New graduates are also welcome to apply and will be well supported in their role.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a client-centred approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Proactive, organised and committed to continuous learning and professional development
