Elite Executive is proud to partner with Far North Queensland Legacy (FNQ Legacy) in the search for an experienced Events and Administration Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and organised professional to contribute their skills to a respected not-for-profit organisation that makes a real difference in the lives of veterans' families.
About the Role
This permanent part-time position will see you playing a key role in coordinating FNQ Legacy's events and providing essential administrative support. From planning and executing meaningful fundraising events to managing day-to-day office operations, this is a busy and rewarding role where no two days will be the same.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating event logistics such as venues, catering, and equipment.
- Developing and distributing marketing and promotional materials.
- Managing registrations, RSVPs, and attendance tracking.
- Overseeing event set-up, delivery, and pack-down.
- Providing administration support including reception, mail handling, and board reporting.
- Entering data into accounting systems and processing receipts.
- Promoting FNQ Legacy's work and building sponsor relationships.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years' events management experience.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to secure sponsorships and build stakeholder relationships.
- A friendly, approachable and reliable personality with a team-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel for events.
- Current Driver's Licence, National Police Check, Blue Card, CPR and First Aid.
