About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. This role requires an experienced administrative professional who can provide key support to senior legal staff while contributing to the firm's marketing and communications initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Legal Support

  • Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to our migration team
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, are essential;
  • Experience in Migration Manager highly valued
  • Strong attention to detail and regard to confidentiality;
  • Strong and error free communication essential with plain English letter drafting skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines;
  • Good understanding of file opening , matter management and accounting and billing practices;

Marketing & Communications

  • Some experience in marketing, social media management, including drafting content, creating posts, and basic photo/video production will be highly regarded
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and assist with content for articles and publications
  • Attend external networking events with team

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a migration firm and knowledge of migration procedures essential
  • Demonstrated IT skills are essential
  • Experience in and a knowledge of basic legal office environment and with migration law procedures essential
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Experience in migration matter management and accounting and billing practices
  • Understanding of Lexis Affinity is desired
  • Ability to engage with clients, arrange client meetings and respond to enquiries and support senior staff and solicitors
  • Demonstrated background in a secretarial or legal support role in a migration practice

Marketing & Communications

  • Experience with social media management platforms
  • Ability to liaise with external marketing providers and coordinate action items
  • Strong written communication skills for marketing copy and internal/external communications
  • Understanding of branding principles and ability to maintain brand consistency across communications
