Harry Maxwell has been engaged to recruit a newly approved Key Account Manager role for a national industrial group with deep roots in mining and materials handling. Based in Perth, this role is responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships across Western Australia, with a focus on technical sales, service excellence, and long-cycle account development.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and enjoys blending commercial outcomes with technical insight and territory depth.

Key responsibilities


• Manage Tier 1 mining client relationships across WA


• Drive technical sales of engineered products and solutions


• Own the sales pipeline, CRM discipline, and reporting cadence


• Deliver client engagement strategies at site and corporate levels


• Collaborate with internal teams to shape proposals and service delivery


• Represent the business at industry events and client forums

Key requirements


• 7+ years' experience in mining, industrial equipment, or bulk materials handling


• Proven success in B2B sales and strategic account management


• Familiarity with conveyor systems, site operations, or engineered products


• CRM and reporting capability (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or similar)


• Strong communication and stakeholder influence across technical and executive teams
