Administration Officer, Customer Assist

About the role: Full-time, permanent, hybrid role- based out of either our Toowoomba or Brisbane Head Offices

As an Administration Officer , you'll provide critical administrative and operational support to ensure our Customer Assist team runs smoothly and efficiently.
You'll be empowered to:
- Process bad debt write-offs and non-accrual accounts, as well as fee reversal transactions
- Complete reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Demonstrate an astute approach to all administration actions with care and diligence
- Process journal entries and transactions to customer accounts, ensuring that all activities are undertaken in compliance with policy
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk
- Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the team
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery
If you have experience interpreting, analysing and reporting on data - we'd love to hear from you. Your background may include working in:
- Insurance, government processing, or financial services
- Data analysis, reporting, or reconciliation roles
- Administrative or operational support positions requiring strong attention to detail
- Strong experience with reporting in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently
- A commitment to accuracy, compliance and delivery excellent outcomes for customers
