SCOPE OF THE POSITION
Digital Marketing Coordinator (part-time 2 days a week)
Position Overview
Imperial Engineering Education seeks a highly motivated and creative Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial for managing our digital presence, engaging with our target audience, and driving growth through effective online campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles, a passion for education, and a knack for creating compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) to increase brand awareness and engagement. Monitor social media channels for trends, community feedback, and opportunities for interaction.
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality digital content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and email newsletters, that aligns with our brand voice and marketing strategy.
- Website & SEO: Assist with website content updates and optimization for search engines (SEO). Ensure all digital content is searchable and discoverable.
- Email Marketing: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, engage current students, and promote courses and events.
- Performance Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of all digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics. Prepare reports on key metrics and provide insights to improve future strategies.
- Paid Advertising: Assist with the creation and management of paid digital advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media ad networks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the admissions and academic teams to ensure marketing efforts align with enrollment goals and educational initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) in a digital marketing or social media management role, preferably within the education or technology sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social), email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot), and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Experience with Google Analytics is a must.
- Communication & Creativity: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A creative mindset with the ability to produce innovative and engaging content.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
