We're Hiring: Marketing Coordinator (Contract/Freelance)

Are you a marketing strategist with a background in live events, ticketing, and advertising?

Palace J Entertainment is on the hunt for a results-driven, experienced Marketing Coordinator (contract/freelance) to lead strategic marketing efforts for an upcoming new festival brand.

This is not a content or social media manager role — we're looking for someone who understands the bigger picture: campaign strategy, audience development, media partnerships, brand positioning and ticket sales performance plus has clear understanding of social media platforms and Meta.

The Role

     Osborne Park, WA (plus hybrid/WFH)
  • Contract:
     Freelance / Project-based (set project fee)
  • Hours:
     Flexible part-time
  • Term:
     November 2025 – April 2026

You'll work closely with our company director to plan and implement the overarching marketing strategy, paid advertising, promotions, and ticketing campaigns — helping us position our events for success in a competitive landscape.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who:

  • Has experience in an event marketing, communications or campaign management role — ideally in music, entertainment, or large-scale live events
  • Has a proven track record of developing and executing high-impact marketing strategies for event or festival brands
  • Understands the ticketing lifecycle and audience segmentation to drive attendance and conversion
  • Has media buying and advertising experience (digital + traditional)
  • Can drive and consult with the assigned PR Manager on the campaign including press releases, media engagement, and publicity timelines
  • Can identify and manage brand or promotional partnerships
  • Is confident working autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Is comfortable reporting to senior stakeholders, managing budgets, and working to performance KPIs

Nice to Have

  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • Demonstrated experience launching or scaling a new festival, tour, or entertainment brand
  • Network of local media, promotional, or industry contacts
  • Ticketing platform experience (e.g. Moshtix, Eventbrite, Megatix etc.)
