SkillQuest Solutions are seeking an experienced and talented Marketing Specialist on behalf of our client who runs a leading cultural arts precinct in Albert Park, Victoria. Once an industrial gas plant, this venue has been transformed into a dynamic community arts hub that supports artists, performers, and local residents. The park hosts a diverse program of theatre, visual arts, festivals, workshops, and community events, welcoming over 120,000 people each year.

Position – Marketing Specialist

Location – Albert Park, Victoria

Salary - $77,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Employment Type - Full-time, Permanent

THE ROLE:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative Marketing Specialist who enjoys working in a vibrant setting and is dedicated to achieving growth through strategic campaigns, data analysis, and innovative thinking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing and communications campaigns across print, digital, social media, and partner channels to drive ticket sales and audience growth.

· Manage the development and production of design and promotional materials (event guides, posters, brochures, digital content, and advertising) using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

· Maintain and update content across the company website, email marketing (MailChimp), and social media platforms (Meta Suite, Instagram, TikTok, Hootsuite).

· Create and manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta and Google, tracking performance and ROI.

· Build and maintain media and stakeholder relationships, including writing press releases, coordinating interviews, and managing external partnerships.

· Research and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies and Council KPIs.

· Support fundraising and sponsorship initiatives, including the preparation of grant applications, donor engagement, and partnership development.

· Monitor, track, and report on marketing spend, campaign effectiveness, and audience development outcomes to executive management.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

· Relevant qualification, such as a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications (or agreed equivalent).

· Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist of at least 1 year (preferably more), ideally in the arts, culture, or events sector.

· Strong skills in digital marketing, social media management, and analytics.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting for diverse audiences.

· Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Suite, Hootsuite, and MailChimp is essential.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

· You must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
