Imperial Engineering Education (IEE) is a registered higher education provider that delivers innovative engineering courses based in Adelaide, South Australia. Our institution is committed to providing students with a unique and cutting-edge higher education experience that is contemporary, industry focused, and tailored to their specific needs. At IEE, we are offering two Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degrees, specifically designed to cater to the growing demands of Advanced Manufacturing and Renewable Energy sectors. These degrees have been developed to meet robust academic standards and ensure that graduates are well-equipped for globally mobile careers and workplaces of the future.
This role involves coordinating and optimizing marketing and recruitment strategies as well as managing the sales and marketing budget.
SCOPE OF THE POSITION
The Student Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring sales and recruitment activities to drive student enrolments across domestic and international markets. This role involves planning, implementing, and reporting on recruitment strategies while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.The role will act as a key point of contact for prospective students, schools, agents, and other stakeholders, providing expert advice on IEE's programs and facilitating the enrolment process. Additionally, the role supports marketing initiatives, event management, and data-driven decision-making to meet enrolment targets.
Key Responsibilities Student Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator · Implement data-driven student recruitment strategies to meet enrolment targets.· Manage lead acquisition, nurturing, and follow-up processes.· Respond to enquiries from prospective students via phone, email, and in-person interactions.· Assist with student enrolment, orientation, and administrative processes.· Provide guidance on course options, timetabling, payments, and visa requirements.· Support the Admissions team with application processing and compliance under the ESOS framework.Agent Management & Engagement· Serve as the primary liaison for onshore and offshore recruitment agents, maintaining strong relationships to drive student referrals.· Prepare and issue offer letters, acceptance documents, and agent commission agreements in compliance with IEE policies.· Conduct agent training sessions (both in-person and online) to ensure agents are well-informed about IEE's courses, entry requirements, and admissions processes.· Represent IEE at agent networking events, student fairs, and education exhibitions (domestic and international).· Monitor agent performance, providing feedback and support to improve conversion rates.· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop agent-specific promotional materials and incentive programs.Stakeholder Engagement & Market Growth· Build relationships with schools, career advisors, education agents, and partner institutions.· Represent IEE at recruitment events, expos, and school visits.· Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities.· Develop and implement strategies to strengthen IEE's brand in key markets.· Liaise with government bodies and partner providers on marketing initiatives.Marketing & Communications Support· Assist in executing IEE's marketing strategy, including digital campaigns, social media, and email marketing.· Contribute to the development of promotional materials (brochures, course guides, merchandise).· Support website updates, SEO, and content creation.· Assist in organising and managing recruitment events, open days, and expos.Compliance & Continuous Improvement· Ensure adherence to enrolment and student record management policies.· Identify and implement process improvements in recruitment and admissions.· Monitor student progress from enrolment to graduation, ensuring academic compliance.· Participate in institutional committees and contribute to strategic planning.Key Selection CriteriaEssential· Experience in student recruitment (& admissions), sales, or marketing within the education sector.· Proven experience working with education agents (onshore/offshore) and managing agent networks.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.· Knowledge of international student recruitment, visa regulations, and ESOS compliance.· Proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis, and reporting.· Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment.· Experience in event coordination and stakeholder engagement.Desirable· Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field.· Experience in preparing student offer letters and agent agreements.· Familiarity with student management systems (e.g., PRISMS, LMS).Performance Metrics· Achievement of enrolment and conversion targets.· Agent engagement and performance (conversion rates, training participation).· Effective lead management and follow-up rates.· Positive stakeholder feedback and engagement levels.· Contribution to marketing campaigns and event success.· Compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.Reporting & Collaboration· Reports to: Marketing & Recruitment Manager or as delegated by CEO· Works closely with: Admissions, Academic Teams, Partner Institutions, and External Stakeholders
