Our client is seeking a highly capable PMO Consultant to support the successful delivery of a major strategic implementation initiative. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic project team, reporting directly to the Project Lead. The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding robust project governance, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring seamless alignment across multiple workstreams.

This is hybrid, contract opportunity based in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, ensuring consistent application of methodologies and standards across all workstreams.
  • Monitor progress against key milestones, proactively identifying risks and issues, and supporting resolution to maintain momentum and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment, and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Produce high-quality reporting and insights to support decision-making, including dashboards, status updates, and performance metrics.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a PMO or project delivery role within complex, multi-stream environments - ideally retail would be highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile), and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a high-pressure, transformation-focused setting.
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and deliver
