Due to the continued success and growth of Seven Consulting, we are looking for talented PMO Consultants with relevant experience who share our passion for delivering quality outcomes through business change to join our team on a contract basis.

Your new role

As a PMO Consultant, you will work directly with our clients to deliver high-quality PMO services. Each engagement is different but typical responsibilities of a PMO Consultant include:

  • Support the PMO Manager in establishing and operating the PMO for a project, program, or portfolio.
  • Driving improvements and uplifting PMO capabilities
  • Developing and implementing robust processes, supporting the overall governance and controls
  • Refining existing PMO practices in line with changing requirements and assisting in the establishment of best practices and frameworks.
  • Liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the client's organisation
  • Motivate and guide other members of the PMO team

What you bring:

You are an experienced professional with a proven ability to support successful PMOs and demonstrated an extensive history of contributing alongside senior executives to ensure robust project planning, progress reporting, and process governance on mission-critical IT programs and projects.

You will also possess the following essential attributes:

  • Self-starter with proven ability to add value within project, program &/or portfolio PMOs
  • A successful track record of supporting the delivery for complex programs
  • High integrity
  • Minimum 5 years experience as an analyst working in a PMO for multiple large IT programs
  • A detailed/demonstrated understanding of program management methodologies and practices
  • Proven ability to drive processes in risk management, reporting, facilitation of review meetings, cost estimates and scheduling, vendor and resource management, project planning and progress, and associated governance
  • Demonstrable leadership and team-building skills
  • High energy levels to ensure program delivery or turnaround success
  • Tenacity and resilience, remain calm under pressure situations
  • Excellent references from previous employers and client sponsors
  • Project Management qualifications are preferred, but not essential.
